Cornelia Haynes

Cornelia Horton Hayneswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 25, 1937 the daughter of the late Coleman Taft and Gladys Mae Evans Horton.Mrs. Haynes was a C.N.A. for Tri-County Convalescent Home, she had also been a restaurant worker, factory worker, and worked in a clothing store. In addition to Hardin County, she had worked in Corinth, Mississippi.Mrs. Haynes departed this life on Monday, August 3, 2009 at the age of 72 years, 2 months, 9 days.Mrs. Haynes is survived by 2 daughters, Gina M. Gargus of Corinth , Mississippi and Kristie Hollan of Michie, Tennessee; a sister, Mary Melson of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Ancel Horton of Greensbury, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Dawson Hollan, Skyler Hollan, Autumn Gargus, and Connor Gargus.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Dean Pickford; her 2nd husband, Melvin Haynes; a son, Anthony Dean Pickford; a sister, Virginia I. Johnson and a brother, Kenneth Horton.
