Craig Marie Nutt Lee

November 21, 1931 — October 11, 2018

Craig Marie Nutt Lee was born November 21, 1931 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Grady and Inez Churchwell Nutt.

She was united in marriage to Glann Lee on March 17, 1955. Mr. Lee preceded her in death on October 18, 2016.

Mrs. Lee departed this life on Thursday, October 11, 2018 in at the age of 86 Years, 10 Months, 20 Days at her residence in Waynesboro.

Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and a member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ. She served as a minister's wife for 60+ years.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Polk Anderson, husband Lou of Henderson, TN, Becky McGee, husband Craig of Sikeston, Mo, Lisa Coy, husband David of Huntingdon, TN; four grandchildren, Timothy Coy, Caitlin McGee, Crystal Anderson, Jonathan Coy, wife Breanna; two brothers, James Allen Nutt of Waynesboro, TN, Jerry Nutt of Madinsonville, KY; sister, Judy Jennings of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister-in- law Lois Ray, Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by stepmother, Irene Nutt Morgan; son-in-law; Barry Kym Polk, grandchildren; Julee Marie Polk and Chris Polk; 5 grandchildren before birth; five brothers, Willard Nutt, Wilton Nutt, Rex Nutt, Ray Nutt, Bedford Nutt; three sisters, Rachel Nutt, Pauline Nutt, and Brooxie Nell Nutt, and 2 infant sisters.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Wayne Furnace Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cary Crews and David Coy officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 15, from 6:00--9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 16, 10:00 am until service time at Wayne Furnace Church of Christ.

Pallbearers, Tim Coy, Jonathan Coy, Tommy Lee, Ethan Hill, Ben Williams, and Jay Burks, Honorary are Craig McGee, Caitlin McGee, Crystal Anderson, Brenna Coy, James Nutt, Jerry Nutt, Judy Jennings, Franklin Lee, Josh Nutt, Wesley Nutt, Zack Hill, and Elders of Wayne Furnace Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Wayne Furnace Christian Education Scholarship Fund, 298 Bowstring Branch Road, Waynesboro, TN 38485 Or Christian Educational Scholarship Fund, Shady Acres Church of Christ, 1440 Ables Road, Sikeston, MO, 63801 Both of these funds provide scholarships to graduating high school students who have enrolled in a Christian university.
