Cratis W. Hill

Cratis W. Hill was born January 24, 1928 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Clifford and Pearl McCormick Hill.

He was united in marriage to Betty L. Wilson on December 25, 1946.

Mr. Hill was a retired farmer, selling fruits and vegetables out of the back of his truck. Along side his sons, he worked construction for 10 years. He had been a member of the Middleton Church Of Christ for over 20 years in Middleton, Tennessee and before that he was a member of Refuge Church of Chirst.

Mr. Hill departed this life on May 25, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his wife Betty L. Hill of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Betty White of Selmer, TN, Alice Sackmaster of Selmer, TN, Freda Hill of Selmer, TN; two sons, Joe Hill and wife Terry of Selmer, TN, David Hill and wife Tammy of Bainbridge, GA; a brother, Floyd Hill and wife Magaline of Adamsville, TN; 17 grandchildren, Bobby, Jamie, Brian, Chris, Tammy, Tracy,George, Joey, April, Cody, Tommy, Timmy, Felicia, Gabriel, Jonathan, Kevin, and Jacklyn; 33 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a great-grand-daughter, Allison Paige Hodge; a son-in-law, James White; two sisters, Beulah Watson, Bertha Treece; two brothers, Velmer Hill, Wilford Hill.
