CURT JAMES DERR
was born in Iowa on March 2, 1956 the son of the late Herbert Franklin Derr and Annette Marie Black Swiney.
Mr. Derr served his country in the United States Army and Air Force. He was a truck driver for Stanfill Enterprises. Mr. Derr also had worked for ACBL Riverboat. He enjoyed in his free time fishing and hunting. Mr. Derr was a former resident of Lexington, Tennessee and Texas.
He departed this life on October 10, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 59 years, 7 months and 8 days.
Mr. Derr is survived by his son, Shawn Derr of Sulphur, Louisiana
one grandchild, Jett Derr
two brothers, Dwayne Derr of Counce, Tennessee and Donald Derr of Savannah, Tennessee.
one sister, Roxanne Milligan of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Byron Taylor.
