Curtis Shearon

Mr. Curtis Shearon, age 90, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee.

After serving as a Sergeant in the Army in Euorpe in WWII, Curtis was a career Agricultural Extension Leader with the University of Tennessee Extension Service in Henry and Madison counties, Tennessee. He was also an active leader in First Baptist Church, Paris, Tennessee, First Baptist Church, Jackson, and First Baptist Church, Bolivar.

Curtis Shearon was married to the late Bonnie Jean Griffith Shearon for 52 years until her death in 2004. He then married Dorothy Milstead Shearon, then of Bolivar, and is survived by her. He is also survived by his son and daughter and their spouses, David Shearon and his wife Teresa and Sally Shearon Johnson and her husband Michael. Other survivors are his grandsons, Tyler and Patrick Shearon and their spouses, Melissa Dunnifon Shearon and Marissa Wanee Shearon.
