Daisy Anderson passed from this life at her home in Bolivar at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 30 days on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Born in Cloverport, TN, to John Vernice and Laura Frances Sharp Anderson, she was a self-employed interior designer. Ms. Anderson moved to Knoxville around 1984 and lived in East Tennessee for about 30 years having many close friends and neighbors. She also worked at Sherwin Williams, Walgreens and Ace Hardware. She loved working in her yard and had one of the prettiest on the block. Her family has fond memories of her gardening, putting together puzzles, playing dominoes, playing Hillbilly Golf and hiking trails with her kids and grandkids. She and her daughters loved to travel, visiting Charleston, Jekyll Island and Georgia and after her granddaughter was born returning to Charleston. Ms. Anderson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sevierville.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Goodman and husband David of Bolivar, and Shelly McKinnie of Orlando, FL; two brothers, John V. Anderson, Jr. and wife Susan, of Cloverport, and Joe Anderson and wife Mimi of Bolivar; three grandchildren Brandon, Connor (wife Jeri Ann) and Kaitlyn Goodman; and nine great-grandchildren, Addison, Kylie, Lexi, Talan, Danica, Colby, Reese, Channing, and Presslee Goodman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Frank Anderson.
