Daisy Blount

DAISY BLOUNT

was born in Lone, Kentucky on March 16, 1924 the daughter of the late Lee and Mary Belle Palmer Bowling.

On October 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to James Logan Blount, who preceded his wife in death on October 3, 1993.

Mrs. Blount was a cook for Jerry's Restaurant in Savannah. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Blount always put her family first and was the best mom in the world.

She departed this life on December 11, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 8 months and 25 days.

Mrs. Blount is survived by her children, Larry Reed, Diane Reed and Ruthie Qualls, all of Savannah, Tennessee, Mary Friedlander of Bartlett, Tennessee, Jimmy Blount of North Augusta, South Carolina and Tim Blount of West Palm Beach, Florida.

She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Myrtle Taylor, Lucy Bowling, William Bowling, Everett Bowling, Ollie Bowling, Ernest Bowling, Daphnia Bowling, Vernon Bowling, Norma Lee Browning and Herbert Bowling.
