Daisy Meeks

Daisy Campbell Meeks was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 4, 1927 the daughter of the late E. J. and Martha Willcutt Campbell.On April 22, 1944 she was united in marriage to James William Meeks who preceded her in death on September 16, 1979. She had lived in the Counce, Tennessee area during her early life, but had lived in Gibson County, Tennessee for approximately 50 years. She was a homemaker who loved quilting and gardening. Mrs. Campbell was known for loving her family and being an excellent caregiver. She departed this life on March 10, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 1 Month, 6 Days. Mrs. Campbell is survived by three daughters: Margaret Tubbs of Reagan, Tennessee, Martha Ayers of Trenton, Tennessee and Betty Bailey of Huron, Tennessee; one son, Steve Meeks of Kenton, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Campbell of Counce, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: William E. Meeks and Donald G. Meeks.
