Dallas Leon (Lee) Thomas Jr. of Waynesboro, TN was born March 26, 1968 in Sarasota, FL the son of Gloria Gale Tyre Thomas of Waynesboro, TN who survives and the late Dallas Leon Thomas.Mr. Thomas was a disabled paint crew supervisor with CCA and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.Mr. Thomas departed this life on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 44 Years, 10 Months, 23 Days.Other than his mother, he is survived by a son, Dallas Leon Thomas, III of Waynesboro, TN; two sisters, Lydia Thomas of Waynesboro, TN, Sharon Thomas of Ft. McCoy, FL.In addition to his father, Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Thomas; a sister, Doris Thomas Burney.Services will be Friday, February 22, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bishop Don Jackson, Bro. Dave Caron,and Bro. Johnny Monroe officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be John Ledford, Nathan Brown, Ernie Bevis, Kelly Massa, Chuck Taylor, Dallas Thomas, Skylar Spencer, and Eric Cummins. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Swinea and Chanston McClain.
