Dalton Pylate

August 26, 1999 — August 23, 2025

Ramer, TN - Eastview Community

Dalton Pylate was born on August 26, 1999, in the quaint town of Atmore, Alabama, the son of Amanda and Jeremy Kelley. A proud graduate of McNairy Central High School, Dalton laid the foundation for a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit.

His work path led him to Duro Bag in Jackson, Tennessee, and FJ Contracting.

Yet, it was his devotion to family and faith that truly defined him. Dalton attended Lakeview Church in Selmer, Tennessee, where he embraced Sundays as sacred—a day meant for the Lord and for being surrounded by loved ones.

A master of humor and a natural prankster, Dalton’s presence was always a spark of joy. He had an extraordinary gift for making ordinary moments unforgettable; there was never a dull day in his company. His kindness shone through in the simple yet profound acts he engaged in: giving rides to numerous hitchhikers over the years, supporter of the Angel Tree during Christmas season, and always being available to lend a helping hand.

Beyond his generous spirit, Dalton was known for his love of the great outdoors. He enjoyed grilling and smoking meats and hanging out with family and friends. His passion for hunting and fishing was only rivaled by his unwavering loyalty as a fan of college football, especially when it came to cheering for Alabama!

Dalton departed this life on August 23, 2025, in Ramer, Tennessee. While his time with us was far too short, he leaves behind a legacy filled with warmth and love. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Amanda and Jeremy Kelley of Selmer, Tennessee; his girlfriend, Kasie Lambert of Ramer, Tennessee; three stepdaughters—Kaytlynn Williams, Kendall Butler, and Taylor Butler; a sister, Taylor Pylate of Selmer, Tennessee; two brothers, Jimmy Pylate of Selmer (currently stationed in Charleston, South Carolina) and Austin Miller of Selmer, Tennessee; grandparents, Bill and Kris Glueck; and a host of extended family and friends who will carry his memory forward.

Dalton was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Rolland. As we remember Dalton, let us celebrate the light he brought into our lives and the compassion he shared so freely. He was more than just a son, brother, and friend; he was a beacon of love who will forever be missed and cherished in our hearts.

In loving memory of Dalton, whose Saturday's where spent watching Alabama football and yelling Roll Tide, his family invites all who gather to celebrate his life to wear crimson or Alabama attire. Let us honor him together, united in the colors that brought him joy and pride.

Complete arrangements will be updated when available.
