Dan Barron departed this life on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the age of 61 years, 9 months, 24 days. He was born in Camp Lejune, North Carolina on March 16, 1954, the son of Waldo Barron and the late Peggy Dillon Barron. On November 30, 1973, he was united in marriage to Shirley Hurt Barron, who survives.
Dan had worked for Angelica and was self-employed detailing cars. He enjoyed drag racing and going to the beach. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Barron of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Brent Barron and his wife, Loren of Michie, Tennessee; daughter, Holly Barron of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brady Chandler and Maggie Davis; his father, Waldo Barron of Savannah, Tennessee; and a sister, Terri Durham of Savannah, Tennessee.
