Dan Will Swinea Sr. of Cypress Inn, TN was born December 6, 1933 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late George Grady and Ethel Hudson Swinea. He was united in marriage to Lillie Mae Weeks on April 8, 1978 and she preceded him in death on March 20, 2003.Mr. Swinea was a retired machine operator and had attended Hyde's Chapel Church of Christ in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.Mr. Swinea departed this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 76 Years, 1 Month, 13 Days.He is survived by two sons, Dan Will Swinea Jr. of Muscle Shoals, AL, Reggie Swinea of Hohenwald, TN; two daughters, Doris Masington of Columbia, TN, Paula Wyrosdick of Hohenwald, TN; 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great-GrandchildrenA graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Pine Hill Church of Christ Cemetery near Waterloo, Alabama with Nolan Burns officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Dan Swinea, Jr., Chess Swinea, Sion Swinea, Tony Graham, Ryan Hayes, Arlan Keeton and honorary pallbearers will be Archie and Johnny Keeton. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, TN.
