Dan Ellis Taylor

Dan Ellis Taylorwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 27, 1933 the son of the late Dan and Ida McKenzie Austin Taylor.Mr. Taylor was a retired Quality Engineer. He had lived in Los Angeles, California for 50 years and Hardin County, Tennessee for 6 years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring knives.Mr. Taylor departed this life on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the age of 77 years, 10 months, 8 days.He is survived by 4 sons, Michael, Reese, Scott and Jon Taylor all of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Sally Wolfe of Savannah, Tennessee and a brother, Jack Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mazie Stockton; 3 brothers, Holden, Lacy and Fred Taylor.
