Daniel (Dannie Daniels) Gant was born November 24, 1990 in Corinth, MS the son of Tina Gant Hollingsworth and the late Lawrence Gant.
Daniel was a 2009 graduate of McNairy Central High School. He was a member of SPWA (Super Pro Wrestling Association) and Southeastern Wrestling Entertainment, wrestling under the name of Dannie Daniels. In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting, and following Alabama Crimson Tide football, but his favorite activity was helping manage the Purdy Haunted Mansion, where he played the role of Michael Myers from the movie series "Halloween," as well as other frightening characters. Daniel was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Daniel departed this life on October 3, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 24 Years, 10 Months, 9 Days. He is survived by his mother, Tina Gant Hollingsworth and husband Jimmy of Adamsville, TN; a half-brother, Ryan; maternal step-grandfather O'Neal Ray of Ramer, TN; paternal step-grandparents Bill and Susan Hollingsworth of Adamsville, TN; paternal step great-grandmother Jessie Landreth of Adamsville, TN; special friend Kim Cheatham of Marietta, MS; as well as several aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Clarence and Louise Miller, paternal grandparents Pete and Helen Jones Gant, and paternal step grandmother Letha Gant.
