Daniel Swain

Daniel Swain, age 40, departed this life Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

A native of Shelby County, he was born Sunday, August 8, 1976 to Debrah Ann James Swain of Middleton and the late Roger Swain, who preceded him in death in 2002, and lived most of his life in the Bolivar/Hardeman County area. He was a self-employed certified HVAC technician, working until his health failed him. Among his hobbies were riding horses, hunting and fishing, riding dirt bikes and enjoying every minute outdoors. His greatest love he kept for his family and his kids. Mr. Swain was a member of Hatchie Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, survivors include the mother of his children, Tammy E. Swain of Adamsville; a daughter, Cassy Daniele Swain of Adamsville; a son, J. C. Swain of Adamsville; a daughter, Jessie Marie Swain of Adamsville; several aunts & uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents, Alford & Mary Evelyn Swain and his maternal grandparents, Margaret & Dennis James.
