Danny Benson

Danny Benson was born on October 27, 1958 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Dan and Sue Tanner Benson.
On November 14, 1977, he was united in marriage to Terry Smith, who survives.
Danny was the owner of Dan's Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. He also worked as a carpenter, heavy equipment operator, and truck driver. Mr. Benson enjoyed going hunting and riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. Danny also enjoyed his garden.
Danny Benson departed this life on February 28, 2026 in Hardin County, Tennessee, at the age of 67 years, 4 months, and 1 day.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Terry Benson of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Derick Benson and his wife Melissa of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Dalton Benson and LilyAnn Benson.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his son, Danny Shane Benson and grandson, Daniel Benson.
