Jackson, TN: Danny Lee Howell age 69 passed away Wednesday evening February 8, 2017 at his home.
He was born September 25, 1947, in Chester County, the Phillips School Community, the son of the late J. D. (Jerry Dixon) and Jessie Lee Crouse Howell. He graduated from Beech Bluff High School in 1964. He entered the Marines at the age of eighteen and served in Vietnam in artillery transport. He and Dianne made their home in Madison County. He worked for PCA, (Packaging Corporation of America) for twenty-nine years. He enjoyed being around his family and he loved fishing.
Mr. Howell is survived by his wife Dianne Love Howell of Jackson; a son, Jason Howell of Pinson, two step daughters, Cindy Johnson of Pinson and Melissa Ables of Enville; four grandchildren and a brother, Jerry Howell of Humboldt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Howell.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ronnie Geary and Tilman Mays officiating, with burial in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 12:00 Noon Saturday until service time.
