Danny Jones, 62, of Middleton, departed this life Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The husband of Donna Gail Sanders Jones, who survives, he worked as a carpenter in construction for 10-15 years and at Biltrite in Ripley, retiring in 1995 due to a disability. He was born December 31, 1953, in Memphis, son of the late Cecil E. and Freda Janet Smith Jones and lived in Middleton since 1990. Among his hobbies were fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on June 24, 1980, survivors include a daughter, DeeDee Jones Butler of Ripley, MS; a son, Daniel Heath Jones of Middleton; two sisters, Annette Bryant and Lisa Hopkins, both of Middleton; three brothers, Sammy Ray Jones of California, Mike Jones of Corinth and Andrew Jones of Ripley, MS; two grandchildren, Carmen DeAnn Butler and Garrett Steele Butler; and several nieces and nephews. The family requests memorial donations in Mr. Jones' name be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org/donate).
