Danny Petty

Danny Petty was born September 3, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of the late George Oneal and Jean North Petty.He was united in marriage to Loretta Reynolds on May 30, 1970.Mr. Petty worked in the calender department of Mississippi Polymers in Corinth, Mississippi. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Ramer, Tennessee. Mr. Petty graduated from Ramer High School and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He proudly served his country in the United Sates Navy where he was stationed in San Diego, California.Mr. Petty departed this life on May 2, 2011 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 7 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by his wife Loretta (Reynolds) Petty of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Heather Nichole (Petty) Gray of Ramer, TN; a son, Larry Todd Petty of Ramer, TN, and a stepson, William Kenneth Sweat of Iuka, MS; eight grandchildren, Sara (Petty) Nixon, Caitlin Petty, Allie Petty, Jack Petty, Jessie Sweat, Michelle Sweat, Emma Gray, and Abby Gray; a great-grandchild, Zoey Jane Nixon; two sisters, Wanda Sue Moore of Chattanooga, TN, and Melanie Ruth Rickman of Jackson, TN; and a brother, Benny Lee Petty of College Station, TX.
