Danny Stanford was born October 2, 1952 in Ripley, MS the son of the late William Earl and Edna Brock Stanford.
He was united in marriage to Wanda Hicks on August 20, 1971.
Mr. Stanford was a heavy equipment operator in commercial construction for over 35 years. In his younger years, he built hot rods and motorcycles which he enjoyed driving and racing them with his friends. He worked hard as a mechanic, always determined to fix things on his own. He loved the Lord, his family and friends.
Danny will be remembered for his kindness and love for his family, friends, and strangers. He was always willing to help anyone in need.
Mr. Stanford departed this life on May 30, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 7 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Wanda Stanford of Selmer, TN; two sons, Jeremy Stanford of Selmer, TN, Jonathan Stanford and wife Marilyn of Selmer, TN; niece, Melissa and nephew, Tommy.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanford was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Louise Nichols.
