Daphne L. Johnson

Daphne L. Johnson of Corinth, MS passed from this life on January 26, 2013 in Booneville, MS at the age of 71 Years, 4 Months, and 30 Days. She was born on August 27, 1941 in Guys, TN, the daughter of the late J. L. Burns and Johnnie Callins Burns. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Kendrick Baptist Church and a former member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. She was a Quality Control Inspector for Corinthian, Inc., a maker of fine furniture in Corinth. Survivors are her husband Danny Oneal Johnson of Corinth; a daughter, Tina Louise Yancey of Marksville, LA; a son, John David Wiley of Alexandria, LA; a brother, Jimmy Dan Burns of Ramer, TN; 7 Grandchildren; 1 Great Granddaughter. A host of extended family and friends.Other than her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Leigh Burcham, and a brother, Lester Burns.
