Darlene Wilkerson

Darlene Wilkerson was born on March 14, 1958 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late James Verbal and Willie Mae Brown McClain.

Darlene had a huge heart and a very loving personality. She never hesitated to take care of others in whatever way she could. The most important thing to Darlene was her family and she was the happiest when she spent time with them. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren always held a special place in her heart. She will be dearly missed.

Darlene Wilkerson departed this life on Thursday, August 20, 2026 in Selmer, Tennessee, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 6 days.

She is survived by her children, Wendy Presley (Rodney), Lisa Cooper (Charles), Tammy Wilkerson, Darren Wilkerson, Sylvia Wilkerson, and Ashanti Wilkerson; brother, Jack McClain (Tina); sister, Cherry Craig (Keith); grandchildren, Britaney Cox, Lareia Barnett, Cody Qualls, and Joel Presley; and great grandchildren, Brooklynn Presley, Liberty Presley, Emma Risner, Kenneth Wilkerson, Kylee Wilkerson, Kyler Reep, Hudson Barnett, Kayson Barnett, Shiloh Presley, and Waylen Wilkerson.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Wilkerson; sister, Betty McClain; grandson, Ronald Joel Presley; and her companion of 40 years, Ronald Gene Presley.
