Mr. Darwin Faye Bowen departed this life on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his residence in Lutts, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 9 Months, 16 Days.
He was born November 27, 1940 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late Archie Clarence and Velma Mae Melton Bowen. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by a son, Chance Bowen; a brother, Paul Bowen.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Wall on January 18, 1978.
Mr. Bowen was a retired wood artisan with Show & Bent Wood . He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness and served his country in the United States Marines.
He is survived by his wife Sharon (Wall) Bowen of Lutts, TN; sons, Robert Bowen and wife Dannelle of Collinwood, TN, David Bowen and wife Kristy of Wahiawa, HI, and Darwin Dale Bowen of Tennessee ; daughters, Crystal Pigg and husband Jonathan of Lutts, TN, Lisa Mclean and Darla Sweaney and husband Charles all of Akron, OH; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Richard Bowen of Akron, OH; a sister, Reba Bowen of Cypress Inn, TN;
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, 3:00 PM at Whitten's Crossroads Cemetery, Iron City, TN with Sammy Franks officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
