DARYL WATKINS

Pinson, TN: Billy Daryl Watkins, age 55, passed away September 1, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born July 14, 1971, in Jackson, TN and raised in Henderson, TN, the son of the late Billy Morris and Wyneth Mae Rouse Watkins. He graduated from Chester County High School. He worked at Duro Bag (now Novolex) in Jackson for over twenty years.

He enjoyed rock music, was a fan of Marvel and DC movies, and he was also a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching car repair videos. He was an animal lover and would never turn a stray away.

He and his spouse Talissa have been together for thirty-four years. He was a Baptist in belief.

Daryl is survived by his spouse, Talissa Aline Neisler Watkins; a son, Derek Scott Watkins of Henderson and a daughter, Nikki Meshiah Neisler Ripley (Nathan Anthony) of Jackson, a granddaughter, Alaina Mae Ripley; and a brother, Stephen Watkins (Sheila) of Henderson and a brother-in-law Michael Brasher of Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elizabeth Brasher.
