Dath Lee Martin

Dath Lee Martin was born February 18, 1964 in Cook County County, IL, the son of Alice Slaughter Martin and the late Hugh Aldon Martin. He departed this life on August 7, 2023 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 59 Years, 5 Months, 20 Days.

Dath worked many years as a tool and dye marker for Reitter and Schefenacker. He loved to play the piano, sing gospel music, cars and going to the river. His greatest love was his children and grandchildren. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a good man and his family and friends will miss him.

He is survived by a daughter, Jordan Leah Martin of Stantonville, TN; three grandchildren: Haylen McClain, Ace McClain, Cannon McClain; mother, Alice Slaughter Martin; a sister, Leslie Martin Niukkanen and husband Michael of Morris Chapel, TN; two brothers, Noel Martin and wife Kelly of Counce, TN, Brent Martin and wife Christy of Stantonville, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Aldon Martin; two sons, Easton Alden Martin and Payton Dath Martin; grandparents: Esthelee Markham Slaughter, Carl Slaughter, Lee Martin and Mary Odie Pugh Martin.
