David Paul Daniel of Iron City, TN was born September 19, 1943 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the son of Geraldine Daniel of Collinwood, TN who survives and the late Donnie Wafford Daniel. He was united in marriage to Judy Ann Brewer on April 21, 1972.
Mr. Daniel was a retired employee of Murray Ohio Mfg Co in Lawrenceburg, TN where he worked twenty-one years. He was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Iron City, Tennessee.
Mr. Daniel departed this life on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 68 Years, 4 Days.
Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Daniel of Iron City, TN; two brothers, Gaylon Daniel and wife, Marilyn of Cypress Inn, TN, Curtis Daniel and wife, Kathy of Iron City, TN; four sisters, Beverly Oakley and husband, Roy of Florence, AL, Ava Wilson and husband, James K. of Smyrna, TN, Donna Risch and husband, Tom of Nashville, TN, Rachel Daniel of Collinwood, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his father, Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by grandparents, Harvey McKinley and Clara Mae Brewer Daniel and John Henry William and Madgie Lee Russ Daniel.
Services will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN with Ricky Nelson and Scott Frakes officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery near Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, TN, directing. Pallbearers will be Curtis Daniel, Gaylon Daniel, James Daniel, Edwin Daniel, Kevin Daniel, and Bo Daniel.
