David Earl Stricklin

David Earl Stricklin

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on February 12, 1951, the son of the late Lawrance and Willie Beatrice Duff Stricklin.

He had worked at Hassell and Hughes Sawmill in Collinwood, Tennessee. David loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.

He departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 5 days.

David is survived by his daughter, Bailee Franks of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and his sisters, Willie Ellen Pickens, Betty Jo Murphy, and Dorothy Jane Gibbs, all of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Robert Stricklin, and two sisters, Carolyn Chellette and Geraldine Stricklin.
