David Gray

David Gray was born September 19, 1933 in Michie, TN the son of the late Jake and Mamie Childers Gray.

He was united in marriage to Mary Carlean Rhodes on May 20, 1952.

Mr. Gray was a retired manager from Greer Egg Farm. He was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Michie, TN. He was known around McNairy County as the "sweet potato man," enjoyed gardening, and mowing his yard.

Mr. Gray departed this life on May 27, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 8 Months, 8 Days. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carlean Gray of Michie, TN; a daughter, Carolyn Ann (Gray) Wolfe and husband Scotty of Jackson, TN; three grandchildren, Blake, Bailey, and Peyton Wolfe all of Jackson, TN; nieces and nephews, Dorothy Kyle and husband J.B., John Gray and wife Nora, Larry Gray and wife Judy, and Roy Gray and wife Patty; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray was preceded in death by two brothers, Rady and Grady Gray.
