David H. Parrish

David Hardin Parrish

was born in Corinth, Mississippi on July 11, 1955, the son of the late Warren G. H. and Ola Mae Smith Parrish.

On December 16, 1983, he was united in marriage to Ruby Diane Tilley, who preceded her husband in death on September 1, 2024.

David was a trucker driver and in his spare time he enjoyed mowing lawns. He loved his family, and was known for being such a nice man and his kind soul.

David departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 years, 2 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by his great niece and nephew, whom he raised as his own,Stormy Yarbro (Jayni) and Matthew Couch; brother, Lloyd Wayne Parrish (Vilendra); nieces, Charlotte Shearer (Ricky), Jana Parrish, and Kim Austin (Donald); nephew, Rusty Parrish; step nephew, Denny Johnson (Misty); step niece, Angela Irons (Rob);great nieces and nephews, Alex Parrish (Kenlee), Alyssa irons, Hannah Sharp (Weston), Haley Johnson, Shasta Rickman, Knox Young,Maggie Seaton, Charlee Shearer, Jaxon Shearer and Hadley Johnson; great great nieces and nephews, Rhett Parrish, Sawyer Parrish, Adaleigh Gamble, Cember Gamble, Gatlin Gamble, and Amiri Yarbro; his dog, Sophie; and his best friend, Barbara Wells.
