David Russell Higgins

David Russell Higgins was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on 
May 18,1950, the son of the late J. C. and Lorene Higgins.

David was self-employed working on transmissions.  He loved rebuilding transmissions on cars and doing engine repair.

David departed this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 9 months, and 24 days.

He is survived by his brothers, Merle Higgins, Freddy Higgins and his wife Annice, and Douglas Higgins and his wife Linda; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three sons, Anthony Higgins, Rickey Higgins, and Daniel Higgins; brother, Bruce Higgins; and grandparents, Robert and Bessie Haynes, and Dwelling and Cassie Higgins.
