David Lee Bell was born January 17, 1945 in Bloomington, IN the son of the late Edward Michael Bell and Roxie Porter Bell. He departed this life on May 8, 2024 in Savannah, TN at the age of 79 Years, 3 Months, 21 Days.
David attended Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. He was in ministry for 30 years having served at Jellico Christian Church in Jellico, TN, Mt. Zion Christian in Live Oak, FL, East Lake Christian in Chattanooga, TN, Old Union Christian Rossville, TN, Bradenton Christian in Bradenton, FL, Harper Road Christian Corinth, MS, Rock Church of Corinth, MS. He served in the National Guard for 11 years. He ran a Flea Market business for 15 years and worked at Connector Castings in Selmer for a few years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Rachel Howell Bell; children: Cynthia Trimm and husband Rick, Jeff Bell and wife Alesha; step sons: Gary Dickey and wife Jennifer, Chris Dickey; sister, Beverly Bell; brother, Jack Bell and wife Charlotte; grandchildren: Timothy Jordan Hora, Jathan David Hora, Jeanifer Lauren-Nicholle Kilpatrick and husband Aaron, Jeffrey Wayne Bell II and wife Shellby, Jana Leigh-Ann Comer and husband Jarod; step grandchildren: Catherine Dickey, Meg Rankin and husband Charlie, great grandchildren: Wesley Kilpatrick, Lauren Kilpatrick, Autry Bell, Brooklyn Bell, Madelyn Comer, Riley Comer; step great grandchild, Elliott Rankin; former mother-in-law, Betty Swaffard; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his first wife Debbie Evans Bell; son, David Lee Bell Jr.; brothers, Eddie and Michael Bell.
