Mr. Leslie died Friday at his home in Oakland, Mississippi.
A native of Coos Bay, Oregon, he was the son of the late William "Bud" and Doris Irwin Leslie. He spent his childhood in Hardeman County before spending 12 years in Memphis. Mr. Leslie had lived in Mississippi the past 10-12 years working as a cabinet maker.
He leaves a daughter, Tonya Bishop and a son, Keith Leslie, both of Oxford, MS; three brothers, Ray Leslie and Wiley "Skip" Ward, both of Oakland, MS and Butch Ward of Middleton; four sisters, Ann Bell of Olive Branch, MS, Susie Harvell of Resaca, GA, Evelyn Gravitt of Sugar Valley, GA and Rachel Ward of Eugene, OR; six grandchildren, Alysa Morton, Megan Bishop, Haleigh-Kate Leslie, Bradley Leslie, Alexander Leslie and Kaylen Leslie, all of Oxford, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Charlotte Ward.
