Obituary

David Eugene Lowrance, age 49, passed away leaving a legacy of laughter, hard work, and devotion to his family. Born on June 30, 1976, in Selmer, Tennessee, to Vicie McMahan and the late Robert "Blue" Lowrance, David was a lifelong resident of Selmer, TN. From a young age, his athletic talent shone as a star football player during his middle school years. By the age of 18, he began a career as a skilled drywall contractor, a craft he mastered and practiced with pride for over three decades.

Known as the life of the party, David was famous for his silly spirit and his love of dancing during family gatherings. He found great joy in the simple things: fishing, watching his favorite movies and shows from the 80s and 90s, and caring for his dogs and the neighborhood cat. Above all else, David’s life was anchored by his love for Jesus and his deep bond with his family.

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Blue" Lowrance, and his infant son, Jeremy Lee Lowrance. He is survived by his mother, Vicie McMahan of Bethel Springs, TN; his brothers, Carey McCalvin (Crystal), Craig Lowrance (Sandy), and Robby Lowrance (Martha); and his former wife, Brenda Coats-Lowrance. His memory lives on through his children, Dustin Gladish (Chelsea), Anthony Lowrance (Kirsti), and Hannah Lowrance-Wilson (Dylan), as well as a cherished legacy of seven grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew his joyful heart.
