David Marshall

David Marshall, 84, of Memphis, passed from this life Saturday, September 5, 2026. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12 at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar beginning at 9:00am with services following at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow the service at West Memorial Cemetery in Saulsbury. David Looney will be officiating.

Mr. Marshall is the husband of the late Rebecca Earline Wheeler Marshall whom he married on June 7, 1963 in Memphis.

He was a 1959 graduate of Middleton High School and worked at both J.I. Case Tractor Company and the Armor meat packing facility before he retired. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and travel, but the time he spent with his family was the most enjoyable to him. He was a member of Quail Ridge Church of Christ.

Mr. Marshall is survived by his daughter, Angela Jennings, and his son, Randy Marshall (Kathleen); five grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Earline Marshall; parents, William Carl Marshall and Cratie Maxwell Marshall; brother, Carl Marshall Jr.; and sisters, Annie Mae McAlpin and Betty Robinson.
