David Henry Martin

David Henry Martin of Lobelville, TN, formerly of Collinwood, TN, was born September 13, 1946 in Wayne Co., TN, the son of the late Noah and Birdie Brown Martin. He was united in marriage to Linda Ford Dunnivant and she preceded him in death on April 22, 1989.

Mr. Martin was a retired machinist. and departed this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Perry County, TN at the age of 67 Years, 9 Months, 4 Days.

He is survived by step-sons, Jeffery Scott Dunnivant of Linden, TN, Ricky Dunnivant of Florence, AL; step-daughters, Lisa Dunnivant Coffman of Iron City, TN, Pam Dunnivant Brewer of Collinwood, TN; 12 grandchildren, Whitney and William Coffman, Heather Anthony, Cody, Blake, Alora, and Suzie Dunnivant, Timothy Thomas, Jamie Rickard, matthew Morgan, and David and Brandon Kimbrell; 7 great-grandchildren; two special cousins, Roger D. Daniel and Linda Gail Daniel Ray.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Martin and a sister, Aileen Martin.

Services will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 9:30 am until service time at the funeral home.
