David M. Osborn

David M. Osborn was born November 6, 1917 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Marvin and Lillie Mae King Osborn.He was united in marriage to Pattie Bright in 1938. Mrs. Osborn preceded him in death on October 13, 1986.Mr. Osborn was an independent truck driver for 46 years . He was a member of the Cypress Tank Church Of Christ and was a 50 year plus member of Woodmen of the World.Mr. Osborn departed this life on December 14, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 1 Month, 8 Days.He is survived by a daughter, Nella Steadman of Ramer, TN; a son, Marvin Osborn and wife Johnnie of Ramer, TN; a sister, Monty Rue Gurley of Jackson, TN; a brother, William R. Osborn and wife Winnie of Ramer, TN; fourteen grandchildren, Pattie Olma, Michele Milford, Nancy Carlson, Jennifer Fitch, Phillip Sweatman, Heather Dusenberry, Mark Steadman, Alex Osborn, Elizabeth Pickens, Fredia Counce, Jay Wolfe, Dennis Wolfe, Renea Melton, April Wilson; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Osborn was preceded in death by three daughters, Wilma Sweatman, Peggy Sanders, and an infant dtr ; two sons, Johnny Osborn, and an infant son ; a sister, Mae McAlpin; two brothers, Jessie Osborn, and Charles Osborn.
