DAVID RICHARDSON
Henderson, TN: David Lloyd Richardson age 69 passed away February 17, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Richardson was born May 18, 1944 in Henderson the son of the late Floyd Freeman and Willie Sue Muse Richardson. He attended schools in Chester County at Phillips School House. He logged as a young man and married Nellie Bushnell in 1965 and they made their home in Henderson. He was a timber buyer and the owner and operator of B.J.’s One Stop.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Nellie Bushnell Richardson of Henderson; a daughter, Rhonda Davidson and husband Ken of Henderson; three grandchildren, Bethany, Zachery and Bliss Davidson and two great grandchildren, Caleb and Brianna Wells; two brothers, Robert “Buddy” Richardson of Henderson and Carroll Richardson of Joelton, TN and two sisters, Barbara Richardson of Henderson and Mary Sue James of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, B. J. Richardson in 2010.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ken Kitchen officiating and burial will follow in Haltom’s Chapel Cemetery in Chester County.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday.
