David Spence

DAVID SPENCEwas born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 7, 1953 the son of June Hancock Spence and the late James Clarence Spence.On December 17, 1998 he was united in marriage to Susan Bourne, who survives.Mr. Spence was a master carpenter and worked in all aspects of commercial maintenance, before becoming disabled. He enjoyed camping, fishing, deer and duck hunting.Mr. Spence departed this life on February 8, 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 1 day.Other than his wife of 20 years, Susan of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, he is survived by his mother, June Hancock Spence of Adamsville, Tennesseeone son, Clayton T. Spence of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and one daughter, Jessica Lewis of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi4 grandchildrenIn addition to his father, Mr. Spence was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Chelsea Spence, one sister, Charlotte Kay Turpin, one brother, James Dale Spence and his grandparents, U. W. and Bea Hancock and Clem and Ellen Spence.
