DAVID STRINGER

Henderson, TN: David Edwin Stringer, age 67, passed away in Henderson on September 16, 2026.

He was born in Cherry Point, NC on January 24, 1959, son of the late Walter Edward, Jr. and Doris Evelyn Copeland Stringer.

After school, David began working with his father building boats and later got into plumbing. He was a simple man and was a hard worker.

David enjoyed reading anything SCIFI and loved listening to Jazz and Blues. He also enjoyed movies about powerful women and westerns. Most importantly, he loved to coon and squirrel hunt.

Being in the woods was the closest David ever felt to God.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Permiceo (Harold Estabrook) of Jackson, TN and Sarah Stringer (Cassie Graham) of Saulsberry, TN; a sister, Barbara Flowers of North Carolina; brother, Jeff Stringer of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Andrea and Christopher Junior Permiceo and Breanna and Hailey Martin; and two great grandchildren, Raven Permiceo and Paisley Martin.

David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Stringer.
