David Todd, Sr.

David Todd, Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the age of 63 years, 11 months, and 28 days. He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on May 27, 1952, the son of the late Samuel and Susie Hush Todd. On July 6, 1970, he was united in marriage to Esther Garris, who survives.

David was a truck driver for Southeast Carriers. He loved to hunt and fish. He also loved to watch football, especially the Tennessee Titans.

He is survived by his wife of almost 46 years, Esther Todd of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Diane Todd, David Todd, Jr., and James Albert Todd all of Savannah, Tennessee; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Allen of Finley, Ohio, Frannie Holder of Mississippi, Sandra Todd of Florida, Cindy Baldridge of Iowa, Chris Bacan of Dunkirk, Ohio, Sharon Todd of Kentucky, and Pat Todd of Florida; brothers, Sam Todd of Dunkirk, Ohio, Richard Todd of Savannah, Tennessee, and Ronnie Todd of Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Todd.
