Debbie Sue Price was born on March 9, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clifton and Ethel Brown Greer.
Debbie found joy in life's simple pleasures and had a gift for making people feel welcome. She was an exceptional cook who expressed her love through the meals she prepared, always making sure no one left her table hungry. Whether tending to her flowers and plants or spending time at home, she found happiness in caring for the things and people she loved.
Nothing in Debbie's life meant more to her than her family. Her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. She was proud of each of them and loved them with all her heart.
Many in the community knew Debbie through her work at Pop's, where she genuinely enjoyed visiting with her customers. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Her friendly smile, warm personality, and willingness to listen made her a familiar and welcoming face to so many.
Miss Price departed this life on July 8, 2026, in Ramer, Tennessee, at the age of 66 years, 3 months, and 29 days.
She is survived by her four daughters, Lisa Soto and husband, Hector, of Ramer, Tennessee, Laura Carroll and husband, Brent, of Selmer, Tennessee, Dusty McRae and husband, David, of Ramer, Tennessee, and Fawn Price and wife, Misty, of Selmer, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Gage Sims and Chesley of Selmer, Tennessee, Kyle Sims of Ramer, Tennessee, Hannah Dix and husband, Gunner, of Selmer, Tennessee, Joseph Williams and wife, Casey, of Fort Hood, Texas, Emily Price of Counce, Tennessee, William Carroll of Selmer, Tennessee, Sophia Price of Ramer, Tennessee, Bristol McRae of Ramer, Tennessee, Leigha Price of Selmer, Tennessee, and Kyson Price of Selmer, Tennessee; nine great-grandchildren, Katie Beth Sims, Hayden Sims, Alice Sims, Maklynn Dix, Maylee Dix, Mattie Dix, Katie Williams, Jasper McAfee, and Jaxton McAfee; three brothers, Woodrow Greer of Memphis, Tennessee, Robert Greer and wife, Sandy, of Spring Hill, Florida, and Mike Greer of Memphis, Tennessee; and one sister, Joyce Armstrong of Selmer, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clifton Greer.
Debbie will be remembered for the love she poured into her family, the kindness she showed to those around her, and the conversations that could brighten anyone's day. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched through her caring heart.
