Debbie Saxton was born June 13, 1953 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of the late George W. Hodgson and Faye Butler Hodgson Criss.
She was united in marriage to Paul Saxton on June 15, 1967.
Mrs. Saxton was a seamstress for 26 years at Jetricks, Inc. in Selmer, Tennessee. She attended the First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Mrs. Saxton loved to sew, enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to cook, and enjoyed making quilts and children's clothing.
Mrs. Saxton departed this life on January 4, 2010 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 6 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul (Red) Saxton of Bethel Springs, TN; five children: Paul David Saxton and wife Vickie of Bethel Springs, TN, Tina Payne and husband Benjie of Selmer, TN, Cathy Parmely and husband Kirk of Pocahontas, TN, Beth Saxton of Selmer, TN, and Steven Saxton and wife Erika of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Patricia J. Newell and husband Ronnie of Trenton, TN and Reta Kelley and husband Ronnie of Humboldt, TN; three brothers, James M. Hodgson of Dalton, GA, Danny Hodgson and George Hodgson, both of California; ten grandchildren: David Saxton, Lindsey Tyson, Jennifer Cook, Farris Saxton, Amber Cook, Desirae Saxton, Charles Jay Saxton, Callie Parmely, Anna Beth Parmely, and Kaley Payne.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Saxton was preceded in death two sisters, Shirley J. Lee and Janet L. Moncier; a twin brother, David Alan Hodgson; and a grandchild, Michael Saxton.
