Debbie Strickland

Debbie Strickland was born November 14, 1958 in Ridgely, TN, the daughter of the late Robert Nello Williams and Martha Jane Boleyn Williams.

On January 2, 1973, she married Cecil Strickland, who preceded her in death on December 29, 2019. Together, they created a loving home filled with warmth and cherished memories.

Debbie had a appreciation for the beauty of nature, delighting in gardening and nurturing both flowers and vegetables. She had a passion for cooking, often preparing meals for her family, and enjoyed spending quality time with loved ones and friends. Her interests also included listening to a variety of musical genres, exploring her family genealogy, reading, studying the Bible, raising chickens, and caring for her spoiled cat, Thomas.

She departed this life on November 20, 2025 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 6 Days.

Debbie is survived by a daughter, Lora McMahan and husband Robert; two sons, Robert Strickland and wife Crystal, Danny Strickland and wife Sarah; four brothers, Johnny Williams and wife Joyce, Joey Williams, Jim Williams, Charlie Williams; seven grandchildren, Megan Shields and husband Luke, Nick Morris, Lily Strickland and companion Tyler Plunk, Chloe Strickland and companion Johnathan Cox, Morgan Payne and Austin, Raven Strickland, Chelsey Price; three great grandchildren, Tatum Dove, Cameron Payne, Adrian Payne; many nieces and nephews; and close friends: Charles and Georgia Isbell, Bonnie and Jim Scott, Dava Hurst, and Lynn Mahoney.
