Delbert Lynn McKee, 72, of Middleton, departed this life Saturday, March 30, 2024, at his home.
A native and life-long resident of the Middleton area, he was the son of the late Erby and Jewell Stanley McKee.
He began his work career in 1979 at Dover Elevators (now Thyssen-Krupp) in Middleton where he was an elevator cab fabricator. Mr. McKee was a member of Porter's Creek Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing and time spent with friends at Country Rockabilly Welcome Center in Walnut, MS. He liked observing natural wildlife, joking with friends and time spent with his family.
He is survived by his son, Matthew McKee and wife, Jessica, of Arlington, TN; and a brother, Wayne McKee of Middleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Nicole McKee; a sister, Judy Cupples; and a brother, Harold McKee.
