Delbert Lee Weatherly was born June 26, 1952 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Alvin Richard and Lois Marie Hopkins Weatherly. He was united in marriage to Diana King on July 5, 1973.
Mr. Weatherly was a graduate of The Arkansas School For The Blind where he took courses in mechanics. Besides working on cars and trucks, he also enjoyed being outside and mowing yards. He loved to talk to his family on the phone about old times when they were kids. He was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, TN.
Mr. Weatherly departed this life on March 18, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 8 Months, 20 Days.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Mrs. Diana (King) Weatherly of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Suzanne Fulghum, and Kimberly Michelle Weatherly, both of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren, Debra Weatherly, Richard and Johnathan Mosley; three great-grandchildren; six sisters, Martha Frances Murry of Selmer, TN, Willia Dean Walls of Selmer, TN, Mary Helen Dicks of Guys, TN, Betty Jane Miller of Guys, TN, Lola Mae Nichols of Ramer, TN, Linda Jo McCrachen of Adamsville, TN; four brothers, Alvin Junior Weatherly of Bethel Springs, TN, Charles Edward Weatherly of Bethel Springs, TN, David Arnold Weatherly of Finger, TN, Jimmy Lynn Weatherly of Selmer, TN.
Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
