Delia Ann Bratton

Mrs. Delia Ann (Tootsie) Bratton departed this life on Friday,December 9, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 70 Years, 1 Month, 24 Days. She was born October 15, 1946 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Glen and Mary Jane Berry Holt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toostie was preceded in death by daughter, Gina Bratton, brother, Ronald Holt.

She was united in marriage to Melvin Bratton on February 17, 1962. Mr. Bratton preceded her in death on January 5, 2000.

Mrs. Bratton was retired owner of Melvin's Dairy Bar for forty years . She attented Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by daughter, Pam Stooksberry and husband Gary of Collinwood, TN. granddaughters Paige Overstreet and husband Jr., Misty Caperton and husband Caleb, great grandchildren, Taylor Overstreet, Madalyn Overstreet and Miley Caperton.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and Junior Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens ,Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 10, 5:00 pm until service time @ Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Cypress Inn, TN.
