Mrs. Prokopeck passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Camden Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1919 in Hardeman County to the late Archibald Clinton Keller and Bertha Estelle Teague Keller and lived most of her life here. Mrs. Prokopeck retired as an accounting clerk at Western Mental Health Institute and ran Happy Tots Nursery in Toone. She was a member of Toone Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Todd of Camden; a son, Michael Stephan Prokopek of Pirmasens, Germany; a brother, Albert Lloyd Keller of Toone; a sister, Mary Sue Sherfey of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Bill Fitzgerald, Cathy Mayfield, Michael Stephan Prokopek, Clint Fitzgerald and Michelle Moonen; eleven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Prokopek, who died in 1972; two brothers, A.C. and Cecil Keller; and two sisters, Laura Duree Keller and Kathleen Keller Holt Pruitt.
