Della Mae Gordon Boyd

Della Mae Gordon Boyd of Waynesboro formerly of Clifton, was born December 3, 1933 in Decatur County,TN the daughter of the late Fred Lee Gordon and Mollie Ann Walker Gordon. She was united in marriage to James Robert Boyd on August 5, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2013. Mrs. Boyd departed this life on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 11 months, 14 days. Mrs. Boyd, a factory worker, was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by son, Tommy Boyd and wife Lisa of Clifton, TN, daughters, Patricia Kelley of Waynesboro, TN and Belinda Reynolds of Lawrenceburg, TN, grandchildren, Amy Boyd Hickman, Jennifer Kelley Dickey, Misty Reynolds, Chad Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds, and Kristi Paris, 11 great grandchildren, sisters, Betty Adams of Clifton, TN and Faye Caperton of Savannah, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Boyd and Dale Boyd, grandson, Brandon Stewart, 10 brothers and sisters, son in law, Danny Kelly and daughter in law Debbie Price Boyd.

Services will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Chestnut Cemetery near Bath Springs, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Pallbearers are Chad Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds, Micah Pyle, Stanley Boyd, Douglas Adams, and Randy Boyd.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:30 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
