Services for Della McDonald Cole of Waynesboro will be Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Bobby Pinckley and Ronnie Pope officiating. Burial following in J. R. Cole Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.Pallbearers are James Stricklin, Ronald Sandefer, Carl Skelton, Cody Corbell, Lee Graham, and Larry RichMrs. Cole was born in Alexander County, Illinois the daughter of the late John Gilbert and Minnie Grace Schilling McDonald. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband Don H. Cole. Mrs. Cole died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 4 Months, 9 Days. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Wayne Furnace Church of Christ.She is survived by sons, Roger Don Cole of Savannah, TN and Leon Cole of Florence, AL; 3 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and 2 step-great-grandchildren;a brother, Glen McDonald of Vanburne, AR; sisters, Reba Waltrip of Jerseyville, IL and Berneice Burgess of Folsom, CA; nieces and nephews
