DELLA M. MYERS
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 19, 1957 the daughter of the late Tom and Hester Tidwell Petty.
On August 31, 1974 she was united in marriage to James Lee Myers, who survives.
Della was a machine operator for 15 years for Brown Shoe Company. She also had worked for the City of Savannah as a firefighter. In 2005 she founded and co-owned Circle of Hope Ministries.
Della departed this life on July 15, 2020 in Southaven, Mississippi at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 26 days.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, James of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by one son, Shannon Myers of Savannah, Tennessee; two foster sons, Billy Cummings and Briley Petty, both of Savannah, Tennessee; three grandchildren; sisters, Billie Ward, Tina McClain, and Mary Petty, all of Savannah, Tennessee; and brother, Bobby Petty of Corinth, Mississippi.
Della was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister.
